everyone should know this (actually, I think everyone already knows it!): appearances can be deceptive, that's all you need to know! and that's exactly what I thought when I found this black sweater this past winter. do you remember when I post about the fish pedicure (if not, you can read it here!) where I told you that I had to talk about the sweater I was wearing? so, here you have it!
for those who don't read my blog regularly, I have to tell you that I don't have that kind of shopaholic profile. I mean, I do like shopping, but I'm not a shopping maniac who buys anything. I'm more the girl who loves fashion but is not really trendy, because I have to admit that I have a very simple style: jeans and a basic top are part of my uniform. that's why basics with no print are the first thing that gets my attention while shopping.
but I have to admit one last thing: what I even love more than basics are basics that have the ability to surprise me. yes, while shopping I love to find pieces with amazing details that make me wanna keep them forever!!!
and this is what happened to me when I found this little Maison Scotch number. apparently it's just a black wool sweater, but if you have a look at its back side you can discover pretty awesome details: leather star shaped elbow patches, decorative buttons all the way down in the middle of the back and a lovely inscription on its label (which is actually a commandment): to be worn with love. it has exactly what I love in a basic piece, you know, those lovely unexpected details.
